Ho Chi Minh city (former name is Saigon) is well-known as a tourist and trade city in the Southern East of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh city is over 2,000 km2 and included 19 inner districts and 5 suburban districts.

District 1 is seen as the heart of Saigon where are located hundreds of hotels, buildings, shopping centers and tourist attractions. District 1 is the connecting point to other districts as well as surrounding provinces.

In additions, Tan Son Nhat airport which is an international airport in southern of Vietnam is also nestled in Ho Chi Minh city. To move other places, such as Nha Trang, Ha Noi, Dalat, travelers must transit there so this is also a chance to take a rest in Saigon for a couple of days and explore Ho Chi Minh city tourist attractions

There are a lots of tourists attractions in Ho Chi Minh city, especially in District 1, such as: Ben Thanh market – a biggest market in Saigon, The Saigon Opera House, Notre Dame Basilica Cathedral, The Reunification Palace….

+ Ben Thanh market is considered as a unique symbol of Ho Chi Minh city. It takes only about 5 minutes from the hotel to Ben Thanh market. If you miss to visit this largest market, you will not really used to be in Saigon.

+ Notre Dame Cathedral is located in a peaceful corner of the heart of city with French colonists' style. This is one of the unique religious architecture attracts many visitors at the city. From the hotel to Notre Dame Cathedral is about 1.9km (15 minutes of walking).

+ Reunification Palace: Also known as Independence Palace where is one of the most fascinating things to see in Ho Chi Minh City. The open time is from 07:30AM - 12PM and 3:30PM – 17:00PM. From the hotel to Reunification Palace is about 1.9km (15 minutes of walking).

+ Cu Chi tunnel: is about 56km away from District 1. It used to be the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War where Vietnamese soldiers hide the American military. It was also an underground secret world of Vietnamese soldiers to store foods, medicines and weapons to support for front-line soldiers. In the peaceful time now, Cu Chi Tunnels are the historical site for tourist to understand more about the war in Vietnam. To get to Cu Chi tunnels, you can take a bus about 1 hour and 15 minutes from District 1.
